Any truth to a future all black uniform? (1 Viewer)

I read a post awhile back that the players wanted to go to an all black uniform later in the year. Any truth to this and when would they do it?

I believe that uniform changes have to be submitted to the league and approved at least a year prior.

They are waiting for more black pants to come in to fill the order for the whole team. And they will wear all black in one of their remaining home games as per player request. I think I recall hearing Loomis say this on a WWL interview last week.

The Steelers (AFC) were the "home" team last year in the SB and were "suppose" to wear their black jerseys, but chose to wear white b/c of their playoff run in white jerseys.

This year NFC is the "home" team and can wear dark, so the Saints I think, can wear all black in Miami on Feb 4 next year.
