Crennel would be awesome and he comes from the Pats winning system. The scary thing about Crennel in NO is that he would likely weight 500 pounds after the 1st year on the great NO food. he wouldn't be able to stand on the sidelines!

However, I'd bet money they bring a few guys in before they pull the trigger. At a minimum, it's a chance for Payton to get to know a few more guys, pick their brains, etc.

We don't need a top 10 defense. Had our defense been at the middle of the pack, last season would have been a different story. Romeo has to be foaming at the mouth thinking about having this offense on his team.
