Gotta say, I've been watching some of the NFLAM spots and they've been really good.

I really liked the Jazz Scene spot with Jabari Greer at dba (one of my favorite bars) and talking music and Frenchmen St. Treme Brass Band. A little corny at times, but it's better than just Bourbon, Bourbon, Bourbon.

I liked the set up for the main show and Wyche has been wearing beads all week so far. I have a feeling by the end of the week most of these people will have bags under their eyes.

Digging the coverage so far.

I'd post videos if I could, but can't from work.

I've been checking out some of the coverage as well (out of curiosity to see how the city would be portrayed). Both ESPN and NFLN have been pretty complimentary.

It appears that New Orleans is even starting to grow on Cowturd just a little bit.

lol.

So, Ward....where exactly is "work"? (in my best church lady impression)

THE TIMES PICAYUNE?!??!HMMMMMMMMMMMM???

:ezbill:

If I did I'd be working remote, since I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Why do I have to look at Deion holding his mic in these players' faces while everyone else is getting their questions in?

He likes to cozy up next to the players. Then it's weird, because when they talk to him, the have to turn away from everyone else.

Trust me... I know how you are on here. For better or worse...

So, anyone else want to discuss the actual topic?
Well.... I have cynicism in this but.......

The networks are fundamentally reporting from live locations.
Knowing the state of raw nerves in New Orleans.... it would pretty stupid not to say nice things.
But after the beating we took for nearly a year, I suppose it's nice to hear a different spin, even if it is show.

The food segments are hilarious on NFL AM. The one with Tracy's and the Poboys made me giggle. They couldn't talk because they were all stuffing their faces.

Also, the segment with Roman Harper at Cafe DuMonde was funny. I'm surprised they didn't get someone like Zach Strief for the food segments, since he's the foodie.
