Did you guys know Goodell destroyed the golden boy and Bilicheck's evidence they had for their investigation of listening to teams' play calling? So let me get this straight, for one team he destroys evidence and then for us, he tried SO hard to destroy our franchise off of hearsay. REALLY? How the eff is this guy still the commissioner of the NFL? You have to be kidding me! I love Marshall Faulk btw, he's so NOLA, he's always taking up for us!

Marshall Faulk: Rams were cheated out of Super Bowl - NFL.com

"NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell destroyed tapes of the Patriots videotaping sideline calls from the 2006 regular season and 2007 preseason. Goodell said at the time there was absolutely no truth to the accusation that the Patriots videotaped the Rams' walk through before the Super Bowl."

Yep...he was protecting the integrity of the game

REALLY? Hahahaha that's comical. He should be in prison for destroying evidence and falsifying an investigation. I have been in dental school and in the military lately, but I never knew he destroyed evidence. This is preposterous.

I've actually gained a lot of respect for Belichick. After all this bounty mess this team has been through I can see why he acts the way he does in front of the media. I used to really dislike him but now I kind of get where he's coming from.

Its not evidence of a crime that was going to be prosecuted in a court of law...he can destroy the evidence if he wants.

Not that it would make him any less of jerk.

Just so you know we landed on the moon too.

The prohibition on destroying evidence generally applies to civil litigation as well - but you're right, there were no legal proceedings that would have made the tapes protected evidence.

I hope that prostitute didn't destroy the tape. That's the only tape I'm worried about.

Isn't that show supposed to air the day after the Super Bowl? I hate the conspiracy theorists but I'm becoming one. Did the NFL manage to get this pushed back so it wouldn't cloud the big game?

LOL...well I knew of the whole situation with the Patriots, but I don't keep up with them like I do our team, obviously. Had no idea that he intentionally destroyed evidence though. I have always noticed he's biased towards NE, but wow.

Tell me about it, I am one of those lunatics. I think she's probably been paid off to keep quiet.

I seem to recall a couple of NY congressman making noises to Goodell about wanting to see the evidence, thinking they might make a push for criminal prosecution, and pffffttttt, evidence gone. We need signs in NO that say: IT'S THE HYPOCRISY STUPID. (I like B & B, by the way).
