Its pretty simple really. We need a return man besides Sproles. We also could use another wideout with speed that has upside.

Ted Ginn Jr.

Solid return specialist and is extremely fast. Hes never truely been "coached up" as hes always belonged to defensive minded coaches thay have a heavy run scheme.

I like his upside. Paytons coaching staff made Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem look good. Made Lance Moore look like a poor mans Wes Welker. Even made Terrance Copper look serviceable back in 06.

Ginn will come really cheap, and as I like to say is a "low risk, high reward" player.

And if worse comes to worse, we improved our special teams significantly.

No. He is high risk, because his hands turn to stone when running routes. That's why Miami let him go and so will San Fran. Hands are worse than Henderson's, fresh out of LSU. He has gotten better, but he is too risky with the ball to take the chance. When he dropped punt/ kickoff as well...teams moved away from singing his tune.

Dude can take it to the house now, but at season end, all of us will have meat at the end of our fingers instead of nails

He also has a history of helping the saints win games...

I asked myself this question...is he better than Courtney Roby? As a returner/WR yes. As a complete special teams player no. I say give it a shot but a lot of people will say no for whatever reason. Heck some even said no thanks to Devin Hester.

bring in youth for this position late round pick for a return guy

His attitude doesn't fit. In All the time SP has been the coach, he's only brought in one player with questionable character. And he had a long history with Shockey.

I'd like to see Az Hakim's brother get some looks at retuner. He's a burner and hopfully his older brother taught him a thing or two. Just hope it wasn't about how to drop the ball when a playoff games on the line.
