Willie McGinnest on NFL Network just mentioned the Falcons need someone opposite Curtis Lofton. Crazy.

He later corrected himself and said he left Atlanta and is now with the Saints.. shew!

Lol shows you how smart they are over there. And thats coming from a 3 time super bowl champion.

He obviously meant the Saints. The Falcons are still a 4-3 team, so nobody would be "opposite" him on the Falcons. That would take two ILBs to have someone "opposite" him. I realized the mistake immediately and just shrugged it off. People make mistakes and mis-speak sometimes. I'm not going to hang the guy for it.

He was talking about how our defense was going to work and was going all into the 2-gap principles. Willie was a beast in his day and the Pats ran a 2-gap scheme when he was there but I'd be cool if the guys on national TV actually had up to date news about what teams are doing. I mean it isn't that hard to find. I really wish they would put more scout type guys on TV and let them do the technical talking - someone like Bucky Brook or Daniel Jeremiah. Heck, they need to just hire more guys - lot of hungry dudes out there he live this stuff. Would be nice if we actually learned something about football from watching TV.
