This is a pretty impressive doing for Texas A&M: The House that Johnny Built

The plans are awesome but this has been in the works long before Manziel.

No doubt the excitement surrounding Manziel combined with the move to the SEC has given great impetus to the plan.

Spam and I discussed facilities on another thread. I concede the facilities at all SEC schools are impressive to recruits, as Spam points out, but I still think the schools with the best facilities have a big recruiting advantage.

Texas A&M is stepping up and saying they are a major player going forward. This stadium is going to attract recruits. The promise of it and renderings helped their class this year.

The Aggies are going to more and more be going head to head with LSU, Arkansas, and to a lesser extent Ole Miss and other SEC schools for recruits. They are going to be formidable.

LSU has spent a lot on facilities but the Aggies do have an advantage there in that they have access to many more billionaires and multi millionaires than does LSU. Texas has 44 billionaires, Louisiana one. Most of the Texas Billionaires could buy Tom Benson many times over. Texas schools can raise as much money in a single phone call as the TAF can raise all year form all its contributors.

The SEC move was genius for A&M. They now are going head to head with Texas for recruits and beating them. The SEC would have been better balanced to send the Aggies to the East and let Missouri go to the West. The SEC West got a lot harder when A&M joined.

Very true statement dude. I'm looking forward to Miss. State finally updating their Stadium.

Wow. That's going to be a very impressive stadium! The SEC continues to rule college football.
