I threw this together earlier in the week and meant to post it before the Scouting Combine started but that didn't happen. I'll be doing a couple of updates over time as the Combine, pro days, free agency, and pre-draft trades materialize. You'll have to accept that I am in no way a draft guru and probably all of these trades will not materialize - I just wanted to offer my conjecture on what may happen, so looked at what teams have traded around in the past few years and how that's turned out for them, then worked that into what team needs are and where players are projected to go. But like I said, this is just my opinion, and it probably will be much different from the next mock, much less the final draft.

I'm aware that some issues like various player injuries and off-field issues make this draft realistic, and that will be addressed in the next version.

So let's get started! Thoughts, suggestions, critiques?

Well you can drop Jones out and move Jordan in his spot.

Warmack @ 2? Arizona wouldn't need to trade up that far, if at all, to land him

I think at least one quarterback will go in the top ten, the Cardinals and/or Bills will take one in the first.

If the cardinals trade up 5 spots to draft a Guard it will go down as one of the dumbest moves in Draft history.

I've heard Jarvis Jones is going to experience a Daquan Bowers type fall.

Remember... this was done before the Combine so a lot of things we know now were not taken into account then.

I think the bigger issue is the traded u have.

Cardinals moving up for a OG is ridiculous. Most organization don't even believe its worth drafting that position in the top 5, let alone waste picks to move up 5 spots and take him when he would probably drop to 7 anyways.

You have the Jets moving up to take Ansah. I doubt that the nEw GM drafts a raw inexperienced physical freak in the top 10, when his predecessor was highly criticized for making that same mistake in Vernon Gholston. If they don't go offense, New York might revolt against Rex Ryan.

And the the Vikings moving up to take a middle linebacker, when they have E.J. Henderson and if he leaves in FA. They've been grooming Jasoer Brinkley to move in as the starter.

That's why it's a mock. Things will change in the newer versions.

I'm starting to think the Browns might draft Geno Smith. They've already let it be known that they want to trade Weeden, he's the old regime's guy anyway, and if, as it looks like, the Chiefs, Jags and Raiders pass on him, the temptation might be too much for Chud and co. Smith could be Chud's new (poor man's) Cam Newton.
