the numbers don't really even matter. 6,8, 12 inches??? It's piling on top of what was already there.

Magically, power and satellite internet are working -- I really expected to lose internet, hughesnet is very tempermental.

Yup. Its a bit crazy. My brother measured 9 inches in his driveway this morning already and its not suppose to stop till tomorrow morning.

Luckily we're right on the edge of that rain / snow boundary, been alternating between the two since last nite.

5:40 -- just cleaned the ice off hughesnet -- it came off in the afternoon with just water from an outside spigot and a spray hose...it's way up on top of the house.

Power is on and doesn't look like it will go out...we have more than a foot of snow out -- from last week and today...but it seems like the worst is over.

We didn't lose power down here. A lot of the snow on the roads has already melted. I want to move back home, this snow and freezing weather is not for me.
