He was being asked about questions from teams about his off the field issues on NFLN. When asked if anybody really grilled him he identified the Saints and specifically Joe Vitt, who he said was ranting and saying he didn't believe him (when Ogletree said he'd learned his lesson). Thought it was kinda funny. Thoughts on Ogletree?

Three separate incidents of poor judgement in three years. Money can only compound the issue, IMHO. I fear he goes the way of Odell Thurmond. Interesting point of note; his twin brother just retired from football at UGA for health reasons.

Just saw that too. The dude can play, no doubt about that. I thought he'd run faster at the combine but on the field it shows up.

I really like Alec, he reminds me of Clay Mathews. I won't be angry if he is the pick.

I guess we won't be picking him then.

Tells me just the opposite.

To me, Vitt wouldn't grill him if he didn't have eyes on him. There would be no reason to waste the energy. He might have just been pressing him to see how he'd react when someone is in his face about his decisions in life and where he is.

If he answered the questions the right way, he might have a chance of being drafted as a Saint.

Only if we trade down.

Georgia ILB Alec Ogletree ran twin forty times of 4.62 and 4.62 at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Everyone knows Ogletree is a stellar athlete -- and these times are plenty fast for a 6-foot-3, 232-pound linebacker -- but club interviews and background checks will have a far greater impact on his draft slot. One NFL Player Personnel Director recently characterized Ogletree as "an immature idiot."

Sounds like a future Bengal.

Yeah, and Vontaze Burficts "attitude" totally kept him off the field and producing last season. When it comes to attitude problems that's the least of my worries, once said player is placed in a locker room like ours it'll be sorted quickly.

His are more than attitude problems I think.

Noooo...I don't believe that for a second.

Then why bother talking to him? There must be interest if they took time to talk with him.

Good. I hope his past troubles, knucklehead isms , and attitude drops him to the 3rd round (not a chance) so we can draft him there.
