38 images shot with Canon 50D and MP-E 65mm at 5x using 0.06mm steps with a Cognisys StackShot and stacked in Zerene Stacker. Lit with MT-24EX @ 1/8 with diffusion gels.


White Primrose
58 images shot with Canon 50D and MP-E 65mm at 2x using 0.26mm steps with a Cognisys StackShot and stacked in Zerene Stacker. Forward and backlit with MT-24EX @ 1/16 with diffusion gels.

Thanks, the river is beautiful up there. I wanted to make it to Nooksack Falls just upstream for a shot but the road and parking were closed due to snow. Heading back and hiking in when weather and parking allow.

The Lee Big Stopper is a 4x4 glass 10 stop neutral density filter used in conjunction with the Lee 100mm filter holder. Like an IR filter, it's completely black to the naked eye so very little light passes through making extra long exposures possible.

Unfortunaly I didn't get a good pictire of the La memorial...Too much shadow. I'm still learning.
