Hypothetically, if we were to cut Vilma, Smith, and Harper, what would you want us to do with the space generated? And how would said releases and subsequent FA pickups impact your draft strategy?

*Correction: These releases save us 20M, but only reduces our total cap space to 14M being that we are currently 6M over the cap.

Ok if we had $14 million, I would first sign Jimmy Graham to a long term deal. This wouuld probably drop it down to about 9 million.. Then I would sign James Harrison on a 1 year deal for 7 million. Then just give the other 2 million to Brees to save some money for the future.

We'd still have to sign or replace Bushrod, Smith, Harper and Vilma. I don't know if Harrison is an inside LB or outside LB, so I don't know if he'd replace Vilma, but we'd need to replace the guys we let go, especially at LT
