I just saw how Aaron Brooks drove his team down the field against Kansas City in the closing moments for a last second 'comeback victory', only to do what Brees did all day long today...

He threw a game ending interception in the end zone. :0030:

Those picks are KILLERS!!!

One bad game

and we compare drew brees to Aaron Brooks

this has to end

No comparison with regard to leadership and command of the game...

I only meant that they both made the same mistake today.

No one can argue with that.

For the record, Randy Moss ran the wrong route on that one.

in that case aaron brooks and drew brees also pulled a

Brett Favre
Joe Montana
Troy Aikman
Steve Young
Peyton Manning (today in fact)
John Elway

I understand the gist of your post, but every qb has ints in the redzone. it's part of the position that you will have days like that. the real question is if brees can bounce back next week and put these past couple of weeks behind him.

he drove all the way in chiefs territory just to pull a ' Aaron Brooks'...........classic

Peyton Manning, Donovan McNabb and the immortal Seneca Wallace were among some of the other quarterbacks that threw INTs in losing efforts today.

Ben Roethlisberger tossed 3 of them today. But his team won, so that's potentially confusing.

Not sure what the point of all this is supposed to be. That picks are bad? No argument here, or from anyone else.

Just not sure why this needed it's own individual thread...

I wish. I hear he's pulling down three large now!

:_rofl:

About Aaron Brooks...

How soon some of you forget that I have always been one of Aaron Brooks' supporters.

But I'm more impressed with Brees and prefer him as our QB.

Playing like a Pro-Bowl Quarterback that had one bad game.......Nah.
