It’s that time of year again. The sixth annual “Official” Saints Report Mock draft will begin on Monday, March 25th at 8:00AM, with Kansas City starting things off for us. Wanted to once again publically acknowledge Loose Cannon for starting this six years ago, and inviting me to participate. We have thirty-two mock GM’s ready to take this thing all the way through the seventh round, and hopefully learn a thing or two along the way about some prospects we never knew about before. This thread can be used for general discussion, or any trade announcements, or for anyone who wishes to share a peek into your pre-draft plans. Also want to take the opportunity to mention the “Non_Official” mock draft currently underway, and moving along nicely. You can check it out here. Collectively, the hope is that both drafts will be informative and entertaining to both the participants and observers, and have become, at least for me, a highlight of the year for our site. Thanks to each GM for participating, and happy drafting.

Thanks to everyone who has made this possible. I look forward to another year of drafting better than my real life counter parts :)

With that said, the Atlanta Falcons are looking to move out of the 1st round. If any team wants to jump back into the 1st, let me know so we can work something out.

The Denver Broncos will be in a serious mode of over reaction in this draft. After losing in the playoffs by literally a mistimed jump's three inch margin, we will be on the lookout for safeties with better verticals. In all seriousness, the middle of the defense is a huge question mark, and is primed to be our focus this year. BPA always applies, you’d be foolish to draft otherwise, but close grades at need positions will prevail this year. Our unrealistic hope is to come out of this with two starters, and at least two other players who can contribute. We don’t have time for a great deal of player development, as the clock is ticking on Mr. Manning and Mr. Bailey, so we will probably shade towards safer, more proven players from larger programs, as opposed to smaller school players with higher ceilings. I'm am interested to see how things shake out with this plan.

The Kansas City Chiefs are willing to entertain offers for the first overall selection.

Any offer????

The Bears are willing to trade willing to trade picks #20 and #153 to KC in return for the #1 overall selection. :ezbill:

Best of luck to all of our "Expert" GMs. I don't have the time to dedicate to the draft this year, so I have passed the torch for New England. Not sure where the torch ended up, but I am looking forward to following along vicariously. Besides, it almost isn't worth it without all of the extra picks the Pats usually have.

Chicago GM checking in for the 3rd year in a row. :bigok:

Unfortunately The Bears only have 5 selections so we will likely be interested in making a few trades in this draft assuming the right offer comes along. We've added Martellus Bennett, super-star LT Jermon Bushrod, and the ever-steady Turk McBride this offseason and will be looking for a few home runs in the draft to compliment our impressive free agent haul to date.

Checking in for Buffalo, even if they appear to check out during drafts. :D

I look forward to this every year and know it will be a lot of fun again. I doubt I can do as well as last year when all of my picks were actually drafted and all but 1 before I picked them. It was a high point, so this year, I'll probably be overconfident and end up reaching with every pick. :hihi:

I do want to put it out to all now that the Bills have only a very few players in mind at #8 and if either they are all gone or are all there, we are VERY open to trade-up offers.

Thanks and major kudos to crosswatt, et al. for taking the herculean task of putting this together and overseeing it!

Definitely excited for this draft.

And the Jets are looking to trade down their opening pick.

Some speculate this is a lame duck season for the lesser of two Ryans. As such, we are sending extra scouts to Oregon.

Where do you guys pick? I'm not even familiar with the draft order

The Titans are excited to announce that we've signed S Bernard Pollard. I'm lighting up a cigar, putting on my wedding dress and going home. Championship!
