Alright mock draft time again. This is the Non-Official mock draft that we did last year and we are going to do it again as many had fun with it last year.

Each GM has a 1 hour time block to make their pick. If you think you will not be able to make your pick in the 1 hour time slot send a list of your top 10 players and either myself or Nextyear will make it for you based off who is still available. When you make your pick please try to post a picture and brief reason why you are drafting that player for your team.
Please also don't rush the GM that picks before you to hurry and make his pick. If you would like to make your pick early before your time slot because the GM before you already picked feel free to, but you don't have to beofre your time slot is expired. If the guy before you has not made his pick and his time expired you can make your pick early just like in a real draft. Also please no trading of veteran players only picks because we cannot put a value on a current vet player.
Lets have some fun!!!!

This is a full 7 round draft and we will go all the way to MR. Irrevelant!

The Saints picks will be done by a poll with the majority vote getter at the end of the 1 hour being the pick. SR members who are not the GM of a team can also vote on it.
Please keep all trade discussions off the thread and use the PM system unless you are only annoucing that you are looking to trade up or down.

I gotta be at work in two hours so hopefully my pick is in before.

Make a draft board before u leave for work n send it to one of the ops. I'm on SR all day usually anyways so if anyone wants to send me a copy at any time I can forward it to whomever most likely. Rex Ryan promises not to select your player

Remember the weekend is no time limit, thats why the time slots stop at 10pm tonight. If your pick is ready to be made this weekend you can make it. Whatever pick is next up come Sunday night around 10pm that person will have the 8am time slot Monday the 25th.

The skins supposed to have the 51st overall pick, number 19 of the second round
The Browns pick was used last year and the Saints pick was screwed out of us by Goodell. Technically you have the 21st pick but you pick 19th because of those reasons.

Alright the Jags pick is almost ready, the second round is about to kick off!

With the 33rd pick the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS select JOHNTHAN BANKS, CB, Mississippi State

OVERVIEW
Banks signed with the Bulldogs as a relatively lightly recruited prospect out of the small town of Maben, Miss., which has approximately 874 residents, according to the latest US Census.
Despite his rather humble past, Banks quickly proved to be anything but small-time by playing well as a true freshman. He initially played mostly on special teams but injuries forced him into action as the Bulldogs' starting free safety by the sixth game and he went on to keep the position for the final seven games of the season.

During that time he amassed 33 tackles, seven passes defensed and four interceptions, including two of Florida's Tim Tebow, each of which he returned for touchdowns (100, 20 yard returns). The 100-yard return came on the final play of the first half and cut the defending national champs and then No. 1 ranked Florida's lead to just 13-10 going into halftime. It was just the third and fourth interceptions that Tebow, the defending Heisman Trophy winner, had thrown through seven games.

Banks was asked to make the switch to cornerback as a true sophomore and quickly proved himself to be a difference-maker at this position, as well. He posted 54 tackles in 2010, registering 10 passes broken up and another three interceptions.

Though he'd certainly shown flashes of game-breaking ability over his first two seasons, Banks elevated his play to another level last year, recording career-highs in virtually every category. Starting all 13 games, he registered 71 tackles, 11.5 for loss, three sacks, three forced fumbles, nine pass breakups and five interceptions, one of which he returned for a score (Auburn). He was also made the team's punt returner, averaging 10.6 yards per attempt and returning a punt 65 yards for a touchdown against Tennessee-Martin.

ANALYSIS
Strengths: Good length and tall frame for the position. Natural flexibility and agile footwork to quickly redirect, driving fast and physical on plays. Always seems to know where the ball is, quickly locating and aggressively goes after it. Good discipline to read routes and stay glued to receivers.
Very good ballskills to snatch the ball out of the air and is ballhawk in the secondary with a school-record 16 career interceptions. Comfortable and confident in coverage, using his eyes to bait throws. Opportunistic player and always looking for the game-changing play, never afraid to take chances.

Aggressive and tough against the run and works hard to shed. Lacks ideal bulk but doesn't shy from big hits and easy to love his physical nature and competitiveness. Fiery demeanor and not afraid to get on teammates for mistakes. Known as a vocal team leader with strong football character, work ethic and ambition.

Weaknesses: Lean and lanky body type. Starts too upright at times and can get lazy with his technique. Gets caught with his eyes in the backfield and can lose sight of his man. Opens hips too early and needs to stay balanced in his backpedal.

Tends to overpursue in run support and needs to tight his angles to play under control and finish tackles. Often hits too high and needs to consistently use his long arms to wrap. Can get hung up on blocks and has looked worn down late in games, not playing with a full tank. Nagging left knee injury in 2012, but not a serious issue.

After the loss of Derek Cox we're in need of a number 1 corner, Banks can be that player for us. We're surprised to find him still here. He's a big physical corner with nice change of direction skills and the ability to jam off the snap. We believe he can be a very good press-man coverage corner which is a big part of Gus Bradley's defense.

With the 34th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the 49ers Select
Texas_logo.gif

Alex Okafor, DE, Texas
Height: 6-4. Weight: 261. Arm: 33 1/8. Hand: 9.

3/2/13: Okafor had a good senior season and was a consistent pass-rusher. His job got harder after Jackson Jeffcoat went out for the season with a torn pectoral, but Okafor remained productive. The senior totaled 54 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 16.5 tackles for a loss, four forced fumbles, a blocked kick and a pass batted in 2012.

Okafor performed well at the Senior Bowl. He started out the week on fire before cooling down some. Oklahoma offensive tackle Lane Johnson told WalterFootball.com that Okafor was the best pass-rusher he went against in college; NFL teams value that kind of feedback.

Okafor went out with a bang this season as he dominated Oregon State with 4.5 sacks, eight tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble. Okafor came close to a few other sacks and set up his teammates to sack the quarterback. He was dominating the right tackle with speed rushes and bull rushes.

Alex will team with Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks to form a 3 headed monster at rush OLB for us. Smith looked tired towards the end of the year but that was because we had nobody else to step in for him and allow him to take several plays off. Now we do.
