Positive:

Devery Henderson : Looked sharp, looks as if he has a future... stay tuned
Linebackers : Filled well.. looked active
Running Backs: Why can't we run the ball. Duece deserves more touches. Reggie needs to get his head into the game (ala forgetting to get out of bounds)
Hollis Thomas: the guy is a hoss fills well and persues... at 330 he PURSUES!

Negative:
Secondary: Fred Thomas is washed up.....Stoutmire is horrible ... Bullocks is just as bad and McKenzie is WAYYY overpaid for his level of play
Jamaal Brown: I saw him get bullrushed over and over.... by LINEBACKERS......second string linebackers......Linebackers should never make it to his chest much less bullrush him......
Joe Horn: I dont care what some of you are going to say. He got no seperation. I cant tell you how often Brees checked down after passing a covered Horn. Maybe he is still hurting but regardless....
Terrence Copper: Hold on to the ****ing ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drew Brees: Ummmm i know your good bro..... but please from time to time try to loft it OVER the defense. You cant fit it into any hole....

Colstons injury changed this game..... but people our secondary is HORRIFIC it has actually bypassed linebacker as a point of emphasis in the draft....

DH dropped all kinds of balls and was average today at best.

Didn't have to throw against MM today. He was fairly solid on run and pass. Devery dropped at least 2 easy passes, but then again so did ocho cinco.

yeah, Predator McKenzie actually held it down today. Not that it matter, they had Freddy T covering one of the best receivers in the league, with little to no help from his safety's.

And as bad/good Brees played today, he's not the one calling the plays. You can ask anybody, and they'll tell you its a damn shame that we got DEUCE and REGGIE in the same backfield and we threw for over 500 yards today.

next week: atlanta

I think that Joe is still pretty hurt right now. I remember him talking earlier in the week how he isn't near 100%, but he feels like he can contribute at much less than that. He looked slow on his cuts. He did make a great catch at the begging of the game, but as you said he got next to no seperation today

I think my point on McKenzie is that if they thought he could cover CJ that would have had him shadow him..... He is lacking in other areas.... I'd love for Duece and Bush to run more..... but even more than that I would love for our secondary to boneup...... The front seven is gonna get burned from time to time.... the safeties have to be there to stop Willie Parker from busting the 70 yarders...... that is not happening ...our safeties are really bad... where are you Roman Harper......please be healthy next year....

For whatever reason our Coaches do not allow our CB's to follow recievers, meaning MM stays on his side of the field no matter what reciever is on his side. Personally I think it's stupid and allows the Offense to dictate everything, but I'm not making the calls, so.......

Although not getting any turnovers, MM has actually owned his side of the field the last 6 games or so..... He's played very well after a dubious start this season.

So, QB's only throw to 2 sides of the field if they have to??????

Why would you throw toward Mike McKenzie when Fred Thomas is the other CB... time for some math...

McKenzie had ONE tackle today. It was the second play from scrimmage, when he pushed Rudi Johnson OOB after a 2-yard run.

Craft, Stoutmire, and THOMAS had EVERY tackle on Housh's catches and Chad's 3 non-TDs.
