Miami Dolphins confirm they have new logo - NFL.com

Versions of the logo bubbled up online in recent weeks, but the real deal appeared as part of NFL.com's "Predict the Pick" series. That was unintentional, but -- because it's the Internet -- the image was screen-grabbed and sent on its viral way.

I was the one who started the the thread about this leaked logo and the only difference between the two are that they gave this one eyes.

From the OP image, the dolphin is in front of the sun. If it was jumping through a ring the hind end of the dolphin would be overlapped by the ring.

Also, the original logo had the dolphin jumping up, like in a SeaWorld show - hence it resembles jumping through a hoop.

This is an improvement on the old one as it is simpler, bolder shapes (more icon-like), but I never was a fan of the original (though I did like it in a nostalgic sense).
