I really hope not...

Logic makes me believe that this is a new Saints team...we have new players, a new qb, and a new coaching staff...

but my head keeps telling me "this is the Saints"

now, i'm not bashing our team...i'm still pretty surprised we are 6-4 after 10 games, and i couldn't be prouder of what the team has already accomplished...but we're -9 in turnover differential...and this late during the season, that becomes a HUGE stat...

you can't turn the ball over in the NFL and expect to win...

this offense can move the ball on anyone, we just have to work on protecting it...the defense is serviceable and does a good enough job for us to win...

let's all pray that we will come out and have a good showing in a HUGE game next week against Atlanta...

keep the faith...

No we have all NFC teams left to play we will be fine. 12 & 4.

In a word ....yes

But thats not to say we can't sew it up by next week and start chugging along again.

In a word ....yes

I was going to post the EXACT same thing... "In a word... yes". People always come up with some excuse... against the Ravens it's "well they're a good team with a great defense." Against the Steelers it's, "Well they were 2-6 but they're the defending Superbowl champs so they were due." Against the Bengals it's "well we've been losing to AFC teams... maybe if we play NFC teams things will get better."...

The Saints are fine. You can't go 12-4 without losing 4 games.

Whenever your #1 reason for losing is an easily correctable problem (turnovers), then it is not time to declare an entire season "unraveled" or "lost". Get a grip, my friends... get a grip.

Its not inaccurate to state the season is unravelling at this point in time.

The fact that its an easy problem doesn't change the fact that we must fix it first before we can call our season saved. Right now we are on a bad path.

where's the fun in that? :)

Tell that to Big Ben and the Steelers.

i love when people say turning the ball over is an "easy problem to fix"

what about the teams, and it happens every year, that consistently turn the ball over? you don't think they work hard to try and limit turnovers?

they are apart of the game and the fact is at the end of the season, if a team is below -5 in the turnover ratio, they are going to find themselves struggling...

and at this point in the season, at -10, i'd say we're struggling...we've got to hold onto the ball...

but i wouldn't say it's "easy"
