I know he's up there in age, But I think he's got something left in the tank. We could use him in a rotation at NT & DE. He's also played in Ryans system when Ryan was in Oakland. What do y'all think, let me see your thoghts on this.
 
I'm just gonna point out that you guys are trying to reason with someone who was suggesting that the Saints tank the 2012 season within the first month. Just consider that before investing any serious debate time into him.
 
Would he really be any better than Kenyon Coleman at this point? I'm inclined to say "pass" and save the cap space for next season. We've had some poor luck with big name end of career vets, e.g. Dan Morgan (friggin twice) and Olin Kreutz.

Good thought though.
 
If he signs a vet minimum, i say yes!

I agree. A 1yr. contract for vet minimum. That way if he doesn't perform we won't lose much if we cut him. I really think he could still be pretty good. He probablly still remembers what to do in RR's scheme that he played in for a couple of years in Oakland.
