Any word on Butler? (1 Viewer)

Interesting metric/comparison among Butler, Galette and Martez:

Of players with more than 150 rushes he ranked =10th in pass rushing productivity with a 9.4 score. To be clear, both Martez Wilson and Junior Galette also did well in that metric (9.7 and 11.6 respectively)...

Those are encouraging words about Junior & 'Tez, although the article takes a knock at them because of their lack of experience. Even so, it shows that Junior & 'Tez have potential (which most here at SR.com already know).

Not sure what word we are waiting on.

At some point today someone will say "the surgery was successful".

And that will be that.

The gold standard for knee joint diagnosis is arthroscopy. Until the scope is performed (+ or - surgery)...you won't hear news. If the post-op diagnosis is complete ACL tear with or without repair of other structures...he will likely be IRed. But Payton usually doesn't release medical information until he is forced to do so...and when he is...it is incredibly vague.

The Dude is GONE for the season! Other than wishing him a speedy and complete recovery, what else does anyone want to know? What else is there to know and what difference does it make now?

I see a hole to be filled on the roster and don't know if that person is even in our camp at this time!

In any case, I hope V.B. heals well, rehabs even better and comes back next year to a Superbowl Championship Team to help get over the Superbowl hangover and inject some fire into their bellies for a REPEAT! Other than that, I only want to hear he went through the procedure well and is expected to make a full recovery!
