Well, it was January of 2007 to be precise. We were all excited because we had made the NFC Championship game and might go to the Super Bowl.

Yeah, we got whupped but none of the Saints fans were prepared for how they were treated at Soldier Field by the Bears fans. You have to wonder how they will act Sunday.

Deja Vu: Katrina Insults Ruled Bears Soldier Field In 2007Saints News

The article is a new re-hash of what went down in '07. It's pretty well researched.

My uncle went to that game, and has been to alot of away games. He told me that by far, it was the worst treatment he's ever received as a visiting fan.

you have not looked hard enough. keep watching this thread and follow it wherever it goes. It will take you to the others.

There have been a few threads. We're just in the middle of the season so there's lots of new ones & thus they come & go. Don't think ya looked too well.

Hmmm. Dat would explain it. I went back 2 forum pages looking but didn't see a title that looked specific.

A thread called "Unforgiven" the week we play the Bears didn't ring any bells?

Maybe we should hold up a sign stating the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 should have removed this city from the face of the Earth.

But on 2nd thought, the people you are trying to insult would be too stupid to understand what you're saying.

Sorry about your Mum.

I was just assuming you had the internet just before you made this thread.

Momma problems are the worst b/c there's no one on earth a man has more sympathy for than their mother. Women too but there's a protective bond for a mother to her son, & a son to his mother.

If she's well enough watch the game w/ her! (Unless it's her heart. The Saints have given perfectly healthy ppl heart problems.)

EDIT: THX for the link too. Hadn't seen it.

Good point, but I saw a cuppla nice Bears fans visit a Saints thread at Reddit, and they were Ok. Not all the Bears fans are jerks, but the ones in '07 sure qualify.

How those young idjits could afford a ticket stumps me.

After reading that link...

I hope we beat them, & if we break a neck or two, so be it.

I mean....urine-laced snowballs?

Yeah, it's time.
