We need to something Nasty or Ignorant (1 Viewer)

Well, if it makes you feel any better, the host on NFL Live said in the closing comments just a while ago that, "it may be about time that we stop calling the Saints a 'feel good story' and start acknowledging what they are: a really, really good football team."

It looked to me like that sentiment started after the Saints beat the other Media darlings; the Eagles. The media wouldn't be so quick to say the Eagles are bad. Heck, after the Bucs beat the Eagles they're probably saying the Bucs are great.

The league does not respect the Saints at all. They think the only reason we win is because teams feel pity on us when they enter the dome, and they donate a charity win. If I hear the terms "emotional game", or "good story" one more time I'm going to puke up a crap storm in Woody Paige's face.
I almost hope we LOSEthis sunday so they cant cut this BS out.

....sorry Brian Billick really gets on my nerves

I'm with ya. I actually find it funny watching the talking heads eat crow even if they don't swallow the whole bird.

If there was ever a time for other teams to roll over it would have been last year. There was plenty of talk about how great the first win against the Panthers was for the Saints last year.

Lets have Ozzy sing the national anthem and bite the head of a...well...yeah.

I don't care what they call us as long as we keep winning. At least that is my opinion on that matter.

'Sticks and stones..........................'
I don't care what you call it, as long as it goes in the W column.
As for hurting another player intentionally.... no way. I know it's sometimes done but that doesn't make it right. It's a game and somewhere there has to be some sportmanship involved.

There's never an excuse to be ignorant or nasty. That's the label many Saints fans attach to Eagles, Giants and Oakland fans. Maintaining and showing respect of other Teams and their fans will make the outcome of this season all the more sweeter and easier to tell for years to come.

I believe the Saints and Lions are the only two team from the 60's that have not moved (Browns, Cardinals, Houston, etc.) and not made even a Championship game since the merger of the AFL and NFL in 1970.

The Lions made it to the NFC Championship game in 1991 I believe.

Thats ok, the J-Lo (j-el lo) line will be there to get some recognition on this defense. Not as prety as J LO, we jiggle a little bit but can sticky up a defense and we are really Jellin' (gellin'). Good with shots or for little children.

I dont think we are viewed that way.... teams are starting to fear us.... and Payton is the real deal .. DCs around the league arent looking at us as darlings.....

Take Mother Theresa and the 2 points against Little Sisters of the Poor.

We have never been labeled a dirty team, and I hope it stays that way!
