Sitting here watching the Cowboys dismantle the Bucs, I have to say we will definitely find out about our team's ability playing the Falcons, Cowboys and Niners.
The Cowboy's look all-around tough especially Romo. I'm afraid he will be able to pick our secondary apart with Glenn and TO. We can hope that our offense can keep up but I see a real problem slowing the Cowboys down...
Niners was a game I thought we would win easily at the beginning of the season but this game will be a challenge for our front 7 in stopping Frank Gore. Their defense doesn't look as stout as the Cowboys so I think we can still win in a shoot-out...
Falcons always are a tough opponent but if Colston plays I feel pretty confident we can beat them if we can contain Vick's running. That wil fall on our outside LBers and safeties to prevent any big gains. The other key will be stopping his favorite passing target, Alge Crumpler. Stoutmire and Bullocks will really have to step up to prevent him from having a big game.

I agree that the Cowboys and Niners games make me a lot more nervous now than I was at the beginning of this season. Cowboys are looking tough, but I believe we can beat them. Just let T.O. hear the foot steps behind him and he'll drop enough passes to help us out. Glenn and Jones are the two that scare me the most.

As for the Niners, I actually felt this game was a lock at one point, until Frank Gore started running the way he is. If our front line can contain him, and get some help from the secondary, then we have a chance.

Sunday, we can take the Falcons as long as we don't give up the ball. If we can control the turnovers, then it's our game. If you truly look at it, we have not been beaten this year by any team other than ourselves. Each game, it was mistakes made by the Saints that cost the Saints the game. Period. If this can be remedied, we are good to go.

Geaux Saints!
10-6 is my prediction.

I agree 100% with your asessment concerning turnovers...hopefully our defense can give the offense a chance to stick with a run-heavy game plan. If we can run Deuce and Reggie our chances for victory go up dramatically. It will defiitely ease the pressure on Brees with fewer 3rd and long passing situations and should cut down the interceptions. I just hope he shows more patience in the red zone and doesn't get away from the run just because we are on the goal line.

we wouldn't have "shoot outs" if the O wouldn't have 3 of 4 turnovers a game. every TO cuts our time of possession....not to mention 3 pick 6's in the last 4 games.

we also need to balance the run game better. thesr quick strike TD's puts out D on the firld way to much

Forget Julius Jones...Marion Barber scares me more for the Cowboys. A little more all-around as far as an inside-outside runner to me.
