Friday Injury Report (Colston did not practice) MERGED 2X (1 Viewer)

I'd be more inclined to trust this site...

Why? looks to be the report from yesterday and does not include whether they practiced or not.

Their official site will not publish misinformation.

Colston Rollercoaster...Get me off!!!

Rotoworld reported that Colston didn't practice on Friday...They did state that atlantafalcons.com is their source, so beware. I'll try to get more confirmation.

Marques Colston (questionable, ankle) missed practice on Friday.

Colston practiced fully on Thursday, so this isn't a good sign for his chances to play at Atlanta. He'll come down to a game-time decision, and his status will greatly affect Terrance Copper and Devery Henderson's value this week.

According to the way Payton has handled this team all year, if you don't practice on Friday you don't play.

I'd say we are in big trouble with Colston and Freddy gone. (unless of course it was the Fred Thomas of last week)

If Colston didn't practice on Friday than I doubt he would play Sunday. Payton doesn't look like the the type of coach that would change his rules for certain players.

Maybe he was told to rest it for Sunday. If he was on it and feeling better on Sunday, I doubt if they wanted to risk him on it in practice on Friday.

I'm sure MC didn't participate because of swelling or something. As far as Payton's Friday rule is concerned, if there was a quick heal between now and Sunday and Colston was going to be solid, Payton would not put a win in jeopardy for the whole team. Learn as you go. We need a win this week.

Injury Update

I was looking over at Espn and noticed some injury news that I had not seen here today. It basically said:

**Marques Colston:Mentioned he's questionable or very questionable and odds are that he won't play.

*Bryan Scott: Been downgraded to doubtful and probably won't play

* Fred Thomas:Not expected to play with his thumb

*Aaron Stecker: ankle has him questionable

too bad fred thomas can't play with his thumb. as a thumb player....

:ezbill:

Fred has taken a ton of heat this year. But we all know that Jason Craft is the alternative:spit:

Remember a couple years ago when he played with the big Q-Tip on his hand? He played pretty well with the exception of hanging on to int's.

Hope Colston does play. He adds so much to the team. On the Defense, hope Deloach plays.
