Possible as its tied in the 4th quarter. Where would this move LSU with a Gator loss & Arkansas?

I am praying to god that the Seminoles knock off the Gators. But God apparently isn;t listening since Clemson fell to the Gamecocks and I was praying there too.

Maybe god will come through and send Georgia to hell at the hands of the yellowjackets.

With West Virgina losing as well it could assure LSU a BCS bowl. I think the west Virgina lose did that but with Florida losing and either Notre Dame or USC losing no way we don't get the BCS

Florida can still lose to Arkansas in the SECCG even if they hold FSU off today...

How does Notre Dame or USC affect LSU? SEC champion represents SEC in BCS bowl championship series. What does it matter what happens to ND or USC?

LSU is wanting an at-large bid.

I think Florida losing hurts LSU's chances. LSU wants Florida to win out. That will send Arkansas to the Cotton Bowl and LSU might get into the BCS.

As for USC-Notre Dame - I don't know, but I think both are in the BCS no matter what unless USC loses and then loses to UCLA.

Florida will win the SEC championship game and go to the Sugar Bowl.
LSU will play Michigan in the Rose Bowl.
USC will play Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl.

They are, at best, 3rd place in the SEC, behind the 2 teams who will play in the SEC championship game. I don't see how they get an at-large bid.

pssst: It may take him a little while, he's one of those.

Ya know? (those LSU haters)

They will end up being 7th or 8th at the worst in the BCS after this week. Wisconsin is ahead of them, but Wisonsin cannot go the BCS because 2 teams from the Big 10 are already going.
If you assume USC and Ohio St. play for national title then that leaves 4 automatic berths to the BCS bowl.
Sugar takes Florida
Orange takes Ga. Tech
Fiesta takes Oklahoma
Rose takes Michigan

4 spots are left and the only team possibly ahead of LSU in the BCS rankings is Louisville. If Boise State qulifies and assume Notre Dame goes then who will the bowls pick besides LSU? LSU travels better than Louisville and I assume will have better t.v. rating. I guess Louisville, LSU, Texas, Rutgers, and Auburn are battling for 2 spots (maybe more if Boise St. doesn;t qualify and/or Notre Dame falls through). I'd say LSU is likely for one of those slots.

oh - I shouldn't even have Texas in the mix anymore - they are out. They may get an automatic berth if Oklahoma St. beats Oklahoma, but no way they get an at-large bid.

Ya know? (objective - not a homer)

Fixed it for ya.

:_rofl:

Actually, I watched the game last night sitting here watching while wearing my LSU Football shirt. But I guess you wouldn't believe me anyway.
