Oh My. (1 Viewer)

This is good news for the Tigers, I assume. Now if only Notre Dame will lose, that's 3 spots we'd move up.

Notre Dame has no bearing on LSU at this point. LSU may get into a BCS game if things start to shape right (something I didn't see before this weekend), but it won't be at the expense of the Irish. Even if the Irish lose it will mean they lost to the #2 and #3 teams...plus they have a stronger national television audience and travel better due to that audience. They'll get a BCS game, win or lose.

No, we want USC to lose. That puts tOSU and Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl and LSU and SC in the Rose (hopefully).

Not if they get their clocks thoroughly cleaned tonight...which is looking like may very well happen.

Even if they get their clocks cleaned...you have to look at the automatics: Ohio State, Big 12, Big East, SEC, USC, ACC, and Boise State. Then Michigan is in wherever it may be. Those are the 8 for certain. ND just has too much appeal not to get one of the other 2 spots...every single BCS bowl game has shown they want the Irish. The last spot is what everyone will be fighting for.

Eers will be downgraded to a bowl with somebody
like the Hokies now. :)
