Official 2016 NFL Draft Thread! [MERGED] (1 Viewer)

Yea, take an OSU players that plays a decent O-line twice a year. Lol.

OL in the first round without a doubt. Trade Sean Payton and Brees to the Jags for their First rounder too.

This thread will do this year.

I've been posting about the need to upgrade the offensive skill positions for the last three seasons (at least) and starting the draft thread every year for nearly the past 6 years.

I'll humbly step aside let you lead the party this time, Boondock.:hihi: :9:

I typically post the draft thread the first week of October, but I'll use this thread for now.

As already mentioned above, Bosa just seems to be the most talented player in the draft this year and tops my draft board currently.

Carl Nassib of Penn state might also vault up charts if he continues his current pace He's a very similar player to Bosa.

Chris Jones of Miss st. is an intriguing 5-tech that I had my eye on last year who also has the ability to climb into the top 20 selections.

I'm just not sure about Bosa. I'll just keep watching him. It'll click for me. Or not. I'm not a perfect analyzer anyways.

But a dude I'm looking at right now is Dadi Nicholas edge rusher from Virgina Tech. Crazy athletic AND gives 100% every play. Only flaw is he's slight in the frame but if we ever switch to legit 3-4, he could compete to be the jack with Kikaha.

I don't like Bosa that high in the draft, and this is why, guys with his size that play almost exclusively on the edge end up being NFL tweeners. They don't have the quickness to get around an NFL tackle with the speed rush and aren't physical enough to collapse the pocket with a bullrush. There are a couple of really unflattering moments in that video above.

Nkemdiche, though, he's a force and gets in the QB's face consistently. Not chasing him down from behind or the side, but right up in his grill. That's what I want from a big DL.

Bosa just doesn't seem to be capable of being single blocked consistently. The only saints lineman currently with that similar ability is Cameron Jordan. For the Saints specifically, I don't see a player that fits better for now.

Nicholas might be this year's verson of Eli Harold and might rise if he posts an impressive 40.

nkemdiche has 4 sacks in a little over 2 years.

He also only has 3 tackles for loss and a half sack so far.
