Let's Quit Smoking (1 Viewer)

What's everyone's recommendation for a quality vaping setup?

there is so much out there that it shouldn't be hard to find a good one

one thing i have learned is that you should definately go ahead and spend the money on a good box and a decent size tank in the beginning....you are likely to end up there anyway, just like the dude at Vapors Inn told me...of course, i didn't listen at first

i just bought an IPV Mini II...it's light years better than any of the other setups i have tried

5 Years TODAY smoke-free.

I quit cold turkey at the end of May. I've been using an app called QuitNow that I found really helpful. Whenever I had a craving I could look at my stats:

That's as of today. I also got a fitbit and am back down to my high school weight for the first time in over a decade. :9:

edit: No vaping or any other nicotine during that time either. I found that continuing to fake-smoke actually made it harder for me to not real-smoke from time to time.

Don't know if this has been put here, but for Louisiana residents that began before September 1, 1988:

If you are approved as a MEMBER of the SCOTT CLASS, SCT will arrange for you to receive, at no cost to you, any of the following cessation services: cessation medications, individual / group cessation counseling, telephone quit-line support, and/or Intensive cessation support services. By using these services, evidence suggests that you will increase the success rate of your attempts to stop smoking, and successfully quit - for good!

This program will not last forever as I understand it.

i signed up for that...it's a great program

Chantix is pretty expensive...$150+ for the first month...it's covered 100%

granted, i was spending that much on cigarettes every month

Smoke free since the first week of February. No vaping, no patch, no gum...cold turkey.
I would think you've pretty much got it beat now, right?

I did over 300 days once then got stressed and caved. :covri:

Today is day 1 of Chantix.

I've tried quitting intermittently over the last couple of years, but this time I am not pulling any punches.

If i had known Chantix was going to be so effective, i would have smoked a lot more the first and second week i was on it.

Since the end of the second week of Chantix, i have not had a single cig in a month and a half, and have no desire for one. It really was the majic bullet for to quit smoking.

2 and a half years ago, I quit smoking and started vaping. During that time I slowly weaned myself from 18mg nicotine down to 0mg. I quit nicotine 10 weeks ago, and quit vaping 2 and a half weeks ago, the day after my birthday. Still fighting some moderate cravings, but so far so good!
