Since I doubt that I will be activated any time during the next five weeks, I really don't think there is any reason for me to calm down. How up or down I am really doesn't affect the Saints.

With that said, the Saints will go 5-0 during this stretch, murdering all in their path. The Dallas game will be close, but we score a late touchdown to make it look respectable.....56-0.

Can't help being excited! This is too much fun!

After the first 2 games of the season I was saying "let's not get excited" but now we're 11 games in and the team is still playing well and is the second best team in the conference so I say its OK to be excited.

simmonstwin I fail to see your logic here. It is not the start of the season any more. This is the time of year where teams make their playoff push and guess what our Saints are one of those teams. So forgive us if we get a little excite because we actually have something to get excited about.

well u tend t want to tell friends and family the truth.....

Right. But you can express your opinion, or what you believe to be the truth, without being condescending. Your thread was not about expressing an opinion, which you could have done in any number of already existing threads. It was about grabbing everyone's attention and calling them out for their perceived gullibility.

Once again, my problem is not your opinion. It's the way you stated it. Rebsaint more or less summarized your position but he did it in a respectful way. You did it to get under people's skin and grab attention.

You know they have breathalyzer's on cars so if your too intoxicated you cant drive. Sometimes I wish they came on computers and you had to use it before posting.

this thread is 5 star quality

you can't be a true Saints fan with that opinion. The Saints are working hard to improve every week, and they are doing an awesome job. If you think the Atlanta Falcons are pushovers, ask any other NFL team that. I know what they will tell you. Any given team can beat any other team on any given Sunday. We just happen to be doing a lot of winning, and that is certainly cause for excitment. Just keep your eyes on us, and in the end you will see who the best team is!:ezbill:

I love this board, you guys crack me up!Go Saints to the Superbowl!

Yeah, sports isn't the place for emotion. We should all just politely 'golf clap'.

people need to calm down...still 5 games to go

Homerism aside, the Saints might very well be the best team. Just because we are a fan of this team doesn't mean they really can't be the best team in the NFC.

That being said I believe the AFC has at least 3 teams better than anything the NFC has to offer and any NFC team that gets to the big dance will have their hands full in the Super Bowl for sure.

At this point in the season its safe to say the Saints are not better than the Colts, Patriots, or Ravens for sure. I wouldnt want to see the Saints face any of them should we be lucky enough to get to the Super bowl.

But it's just one game and anything can happen. So IF the Saints get there, ya never know.

:)

The Saints are winning? I must be dreaming.

Don't wake me up until the season is over.

No offense but I bet you are just one wild and crazy guy........

This is what fandom is about....We are in First Place after the disastor of last year.... after 40 years of mostly pain and heartache....

and you are suggesting that I calm down.....

uhhhhh.... no

Well, In week 12 we were definately the best NFC team. Huge win against the Falcons away, and scoring 31 pts - only allowing 80 passing yards. That is huge!

Cowboys beat a poor team, the Bears and Giants lost.
