New toy (1 Viewer)

I cant have just a couple guns for defense... jeez there are guns for different seasons. I cant carry a full size 1911 in shorts and a tshirt for instance. If I am at a wedding I need something small like my Sig P938. When I am hunting I carry a Ruger Super Redhawk in 44 Mag. When I go to the range I like to bring it all.

Just picked up 2 new ones last week. A S&W Mod 19 in 357, and a Ruger Single Six in .22lr and mag.

Do you have any idea what this sounds like to a reasonable objective person?

The fact that you have experienced firearms violence first hand doesn't make your view clearer, it distorts it.

Ok, ill bite. you seem to have taken a pair of my shoes and walked in them for a while. elaborate please. This should be interesting.

Sounds like judicious use of common sense to me? you wouldn't wear flip flops in the deep snow of winter would you? wear a heavy heavy winter coat in the summer heat? so it makes sense not to carry a firearm that doesn't fit the clothes you wear?

Traumatic experiences cause people to respond irrationally.

Nice! I am trying to decide on a wheelgun to add to my stock. I know I want a 357, but S&W, Ruger . . . ? I don't know yet. I have found that the cost of good revolvers has far past the cost of many semi pistols. Ouch!

Not sure what your price point is FLSaintsFan but you should look at maybe a Taurus 617 if you're looking for inexpensive. We sell them at my shop for like $425. I've shot one and sold quite a few of them. 7 shot .357.

I'm not really against spending more when there is a significant difference in quality and/or function. I will put that one on my list to check out. Thank you!

I am saying that we have a problem in the United States. There are too many firearms.

No. Guns arent the problem. You are blaming firearms for violent crimes. Its like blaming the fork/spoon for being fat. If I would come into unlimited funds today, I would have a $1mil worth of firearms and ammo shipped today. Every rifle and pistol in any caliber in custom or brand name I could want. I would shoot until I had to climb out of my pile of brass and then shoot some more. People are the problem. Not guns. I never saw a gun shoot itself. If you removed guns (all of them) from the Earth today, people would be talking about banning knives and machetes tomorrow.

Semper nice toys. Im looking at getting an HKVP9 soon.

I love Springfield's stuff. I had an XDM when they came out. 4 inch service model, .45. great pistol. wish I never sold it. I really want a 5 inch 1911.

I also have a Para 1911 that is 5", and a Colt 1911 both in .45

A gun is not a toy.

Technically, it is a "Revolver".
A "gun" is a smooth bore. This has a hand-held with a revolving cylinder with a rifled barrel.

Since Everyone is getting their shorts jumbled on the language.
