Please be careful in this weather. It has been real. Nonstop rain since yesterday evening.

Our daily record in Lafayette is around 2.4".

We had the beat by 6am this morning.

We're over 5 inches as of 8am and expecting more thru tomorrow nite.

I just hope that all those in North St. Tammany/Tangi dont have a repeat of late March ( rivers overflowing banks )

We have several friends in the midst of renovations from that..and they freakin out because it looks to be happening again.

Tangi is flooding now we are ok in St. Tammany but keeping a eye on the rivers so far so good. so if anybody has to use i-55 they are planning on closing part of it near kentwood.

If you must watch the weather today i suggest WWLTV Tamika Lee former Saintsation and the best weather person on air .

Wait, what? When did Tamika start doing weather?

Boss lives in Independence and says they are closer roads. Her address, which sits up some is starting to flood.

I would imagine the Tickfaw and Amite rivers are nearing Flood stage already.

A curfew has been issued in Zachary.

Well that Grand i dont know i was watching channel 4 for road updates and she was doing the weather , all i got to say its better then watching bob breck:ezbill:

The rivers are getting high but the big problem right now is the drainage ditches that connect to the rivers are starting to overflow. so several roads have fast flowing water rushing over them , so if you dont have to go out dont .

Hwy 190 in Covington the right and middle roads have been closed near the walmart .
