Has anyone on here read this book? Its a bout 10 years old.

I have been reading it and about half way through. very interesting . very interesting.

I have watched a few videos / podcast around what the subject of the book is about and it is mind blowing.

Cant wait to finish, so i can read the newest one.

my bad just copied this off the net. im not the best at describing books.

Fingerprints of the Gods: The Evidence of Earth's Lost Civilization is a book first published in 1995 by Graham Hancock, in which he echoes 19th century writer Ignatius Donnelly, author of Atlantis: The Antediluvian World (1882), in contending that some previously enigmatic ancient but highly advanced civilization had existed in prehistory, one which served as the common progenitor civilization to all subsequent known ancient historical ones. The author proposes that sometime around the end of the last Ice Age this civilization ended in cataclysm,[1] but passed on to its inheritors profound knowledge of such things as astronomy, architecture, and mathematics. His theory is based on the idea that mainstream interpretations of archaeological evidence are flawed or incomplete.

Were they 20 to 40 feet tall? Rode dinosaurs like your average horse?

I kid, this seems more plausible and worthy of discussion than giants building the Pyramids though.

I like Graham Hancock. Pretty sure he recently released a spiritual successor to that book as well. He and Randall Carlson are good listens when on podcasts like Rogan, etc...

nothing about aliens. just how they may have been a civilization before recorded history. and some world cataclysm happen and we kind of reset.

I must warn you that this is a vast rabbit hole with many dead ends.

Many books with slivers of the truth, that go off on tangents instead of sticking to the hard facts that we can analyze.

Sea levels..
Vast constructions that are under 300+ ft of sea water. The last time the sea level was 300-400 ft down was at the end of the younger dryas.

Graham Hancock and Randall Carson are helping us recover some of that past so we can better understand and integrate that lost history into our social fabric.

The following 7 hour video contains a segment on some of the ancient monuments of the world and is worth watching from 1:04:10 until 1:52:00.

I am not saying watch the whole video...some of it goes out of the realm of this particular discussion. Just watch the 48 minute segment and realize that we are still catching up to the past.

That movie hasn't come out yet. They scaled back the height. :ezbill:

just have a open mind

to say that we know everything that happen in the past would be stupid.

I like Graham Hancock.

His great, great, great, great grandfather, Herbie, was an integral part of American History.
