Hey sounds like he had a good game against the texans 7 tackles one sack 6 of the 7 tackles were defensive stops hope this guy keeps going another bright spot for our D

The kid is instinctive... I'll give him that. His only glaring weakness is his tackling really. Him and a RB one on one in the open field is scary. Heck... a RB with anyone in the open field is scary.

He's active and appears to understand his run fits when necessary. The FS blitz used to be a change-up from the standard SS blitz under 3G. I didn't see him get tested on angles this game because the front 7 did a much better job at handling the run game.

He'll prob still have some growing pains in pass coverage as he's a rookie and still learning but he's developing. The thing I don't see (especially after the signing of Finnegan) is him being used in the slot much. Initially i thought that was where he could make an impact but I think the NE practice when he went against Welker was a chance to see he's got a lot of work to do there.

I saw a couple of nice RB tackles from him. Albeit, they were backside pursuit tackles but they were basically solos.

Yeah, but can he play guard in the offensive line. Can he hold unto the ball. Just wondering. (Sarcasm off)

I think you're right. He seems to be a bit late and takes some bad angles. I think he is still thinking too much (understandable).

I agree. The good part is that we don't need him to be an immediate impact. We have Byrd, so he can continue to learn and develop...and I'm ok with that.
