Well we Got a good look at our Nickle sets with all the spread formations of the steelers. A lot of isolation on D Harris. He's a scrappy little guy: Size definitely shows up. Sometimes he's in decent position but can't make a play on ball
Because of his size. I don't think D Allen is putting a lot of stunts and blitzes on tape. So there was not a lot pressure. Surprised Krawley not the Nickle guy. His length makes u think boundary corner but he's a quick twitch athlete mirror that has length to make plays on the ball. Harris will win some but I think he will lose more then he wins. I think that was good preview of the Nickle base for the season

I am really hoping that Swann is good to go as the nickle back and they were just seeing what the young ones could do against a stiff offense like Pittsburgh.

Harris was tossed around like a rag-doll on running plays. He was also asked to guard A. Brown 1 on 1 in man-coverage on a crucial 3rd down in the 1st quarter, that seemed almost unfair to the guy and/or a coaching mistake.

Yeah, that TD by Brown was brutal. to be fair tho A. Brown and big ben will exploit a match up like that quite a bit in my opinion.

This is exactly what happens when you go with youth at that position. In the great phrase of Shaq O'Neal, they'll all be bbq'd chicken early in the season, and you can only hope they get better. P.J. gave up big cushions as well. Keenan Lewis not being healthy again this year is really going to sting.

I agree Crawley has looked the best of the young corners. Also has the size and tenacity to help in the run game. Really need he and Finnegan t move up the depth chart fast.

Keenan Lewis is no longer on the team.

I think Crawley is the better cover guy and should be the nickel.

We saw Crawley get the spot last week and Harris this week, so it seems to be an open competition.

Better yet, I think Finnegan has shown enough to get a shot at nickel.
