If we are going with the current OL, he'll be needed for his blocking. That was an ugly looking injury.
 
I'm only speculating but his ankle got rolled up on pretty good. I suspect he is going to have to miss some time.

I think we'll be lucky if it's his ankle. That was one of those knee twisters he got himself caught up in.

No doubt. If it is his knee, he needs to break the other knee off in Striefs rear. Got beat, trying to make up by chasing his guy behind and rolling up on his own man.
 
Unless it is season ending and he goes on IR, all you'll get from Coach Payton is that he has a leg until the first game of the regular season. Thats when the first injury reports are required.
 
Speaking in generalizations

I'm going to say at minimum: high ankle sprain (4-6 weeks)

Maximum: Knee tear (4 weeks - 1 year)

Severity of either is season destroying.

They put him on IR , so it must have been bad. He was probably the best blocking TE the team had.
