At least the package was actually delivered. I can't tell you the number of times the USPS scanned my packages as delivered but never actually brought them to my house.

I get a lot of Amazon packages through the USPS. While I find their tracking and delivery lacking, my delivery lady is absolutely the bomb. She loves dogs and comes down our private road to deliver packages to my house.

There are about 5 dogs that follow her down my road because they know she has treats to give them when she stops.

My biggest issue is that I will occasionally get a message from them stating my package was undeliverable and I should either contact them for a second attempt or pick it up at the post office. Twice I have gone (way out of my way) to pick it up to find out it is on the truck.

I figured this happens when my normal delivery lady is off. The next day when she returns to work, she brings it to me.

Sounds more like UPS.

The only time USPS screwed me over was the day before a holiday. They said they "couldn't find my address". I was so mad, because I've had packages from Amazon delivered by them multiple times, even on Sunday's with no problem. That person just wanted to go home early and enjoy their weekend.

I have one of those stupid community mailboxes. Consequently, I don't check it every day. I don't usually get much mail anyway...but the junk mail drives me up the wall - and the very bulky advertising coupon things sometimes fill my box up so fast the mailperson undelivers all the mail in my box forcing me to visit the Post Office in person.

When I get my mail, I sit in front of the Postmaster and take home the 10 letters and leave the 8lbs worth of crap I don't want delivered.

I've offered to pay the post office to not deliver that crap to my box, but there is no provision to handle such a request.

Yeah. Anytime I have had issues with packages from the USPS has been when our regular delivery lady is off. These days, my problem has been FedEx. I just finished raised hell with them about a package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday and the driver never came.
