I can't wait till Brees signs the contract with the Saints and this ends.

Except we have a coach who could make an average QB (if that was our scenario), work in our offense.

I am not sure how this is similar to LSU's situation (Michigan fan). Can anyone explain where the similarities are?

What's Underhill's opinion on this, that's an opinion I can take with more than a grain of salt.

LSU got everything going but a QB. Under Les Miles they cant seem to Develop a good QB

that is simply not true. otherwise we would be starting Grayson and winning games. it is a symbiotic relationship between Brees and Coach Payton. Would each be as successful without the other? an average qb may "work" but not at a championship level. True, this team hasn't played to that level as of late but it is not because of Brees. Give any qb a questionable line, historically, over several seasons, bad defense and see how well they do. Put Manning(either one), Brady, any franchise qb on this team and we wouldn't be any better. Chances are we would be worse. LSU is showing that you can have a talented team but without a qb you are not going to win consistently.

Well Alabama has done just that for quite some time now.

But but that's a big difference between college and the NFL. No QB rarely works in the NFL. You can argue that Denver did it last season with a greatly diminished Payton Manning, but prior to that, you have to go back to 2000 to Trent Dilfer since a "no QB" won a Super Bowl.

In both those instances the defense were historically good and both teams built defense mostly from draft.

I really thought that tweet was fake at first, till I looked at twitter and saw that he really said it lol. My LSU friends were not happy.

What possible basis do you have to say this?

Have our backups looked like world beaters over the past 10 years? Have other teams been clambering to trade for our backups a couple years after Sean has had them? If not, I submit your thesis is wrong.
