Homerism aside, the Saints might very well be the best team. Just because we are a fan of this team doesn't mean they really can't be the best team in the NFC.

That being said I believe the AFC has at least 3 teams better than anything the NFC has to offer and any NFC team that gets to the big dance will have their hands full in the Super Bowl for sure.

At this point in the season its safe to say the Saints are not better than the Colts, Patriots, or Ravens for sure. I wouldnt want to see the Saints face any of them should we be lucky enough to get to the Super bowl.

But it's just one game and anything can happen. So IF the Saints get there, ya never know.

How do you know they aren't any better than the Colts? They haven't played each other yet. Maybe on paper, but I wouldn't bet on it. I think the Saints can beat anyone when they are playing their A game! The only way we are going to find that out this year, is for the Saints to meet one of them in the SuperBowl, and I would love to see that. Colts vs. Saints in the big one. It would be sweet. :a_smil09:

im tired of people on here saying we need to calm down... WE'RE FANS!!!!! i've called a saints super bowl victory every year that i can remember. it's not up to us to stay focused and play the games. it's our job to get excited that we finally have some wins to cheer about

As long as the team knows this we are ok to talk playoffs. The team paid our cost of entrance. Now we want to enjoy the party. I don't hear the I told you so attitude that HAZ had back when he had us at 6-2. Back then the HC spoke more of past glory then future endeavors. This time it really is different. Does that mean we are a lock? Hardly. I know that 7-4 means the worst we can finish is 7-9, but dare I say- I doubt it.

So Dallas is better because they beat Indy at home on an emotional night at home much like we did against Atlanta. Or maybe because they lost to Wash and we lost to Pitt at home and Cincywho is hot or the Ravens who are 9-2. We are that good when we play our football on any given Sunday we can beat anyone and thats what the NFL is all about

Dallas has a defense and they score more points per game.
