Recently signed defensive end Paul Kruger and kicker Will Lutz were at practice.

Kruger was observed wearing jersey No. 99, which was previously worn by rookie defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, who was recently placed on injured reserve.

Lutz is wearing No. 3.



...if Kruger is #99 what number did Rankins switch to? his college number was #99 correct?

Rankins' number at Louisville was 98, which was Bobby Richardson's number. Richardson's on the practice squad now so I don't know if he has a choice in what number he retains.

I like Stupar as well. I think our LB depth is very good this year. Could roll with any of LB's starting sans Mauti and I would be comfortable.
