That's how many points the Saints D allowed today, and the Saints lost the game. I'm not going to rant on Cadet/Coleman/Fleener, no CJ Spiller, or the O-line. I'll leave that to others. For now, I am just going to tip my hat to the almost heroic effort by the Saints D. They balled hard today. All of them.

The Fleener signing looks like yet another failure signing by the front office

Defense was lights out. Encouraged by their play. The blocked fg was the difference in the game...and the officiating was godawful today. I've been saying it for a long long time, we need to get a new ST coordinator because it's the same ole same ole undisciplined unit on the kicking team. The blocked fg was a 10 point swing, literally.

They played very well today. Wasn't ideal all the way around, but the defense didn't lose the game today. Weren't for the blocked field goal returned for a touchdown and that bogus PI call without OBJ. Or if the offense would have performed better - we would have won. Definitely proud of the job the defense did

Y'know, for all the babble about the almighty OBJ and Victor Cruz, they did practically nothing today against our 10th-string corners.

I'm not going that far yet. I think he and Brees simply aren't on the same page yet. He had a couple of catches in the 2nd half that gave a glimpse of what potential is there. Time will tell.

The defense played their hearts out today! Look at all of the injuries and how the next man stood up! Nothing to be ashamed of boys! Be proud as the wins will come!

Fleener looks absolutely confused out there, most of the time. It's like he doesn't understand what he's being asked to do. Coleman looks to have hit his ceiling. He just doesn't have it.

I'm proud of the way the Defense played. But I'm extremely frustrated with the offense.

Crawley came so close to intercepting tbat Cruz catch

This team doesn't have time. They're 0-2. They're out of time. Week three is already a do or die must win, or else phone it in the rest of the year. There is already a one in a million chance this sorry team can come back from that, but it's totally impossible for them to come back from 0-3.

There is no way you should be in a do or die situation in week three, yet here we are.

Defense came to play with something to prove and they did it. Proud of them!!!

I don't know what the offense came to do.... :idunno:

This game was so winnable for us and the offense just could not find its chemistry today. Fleener and Coleman were a total fail and ended several possible TD drives.

Another hard pill to swallow is without that blocked field goal returned for a TD, it would be 13-9. A "W" for us.

I haven't given up on our team and I won't. If the offense of last week and the defense from this week can just meet on the same dam day, then we would be a pretty darn good football team.

The elements are there. It's just about putting them all together and making it happen on game day.

And still they lost giving up a long drive, last week it was the defense's fault this week it was the offenses fault honestly this team is bad week in and week out. Football is a 60 minute game so the defense still didn't do their job yeah they did better but this is football doing better doesn't win football games. This team is a disorganized mess and it starts with coaching.
