I have no complaints, other than the officiating. The NFL will take care of the Giants, especially at home. You can take that to the bank.

Between that, and the injuries, it was going to be an uphill battle. Obviously a win would have been better but this feels like a team building kind of game. Especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Offense couldn't capitalize on turn overs but the giants were expected to be a top 5 defense this year. Consider we are playing them at home, this wasn't going to be easy. I don't feel as disappointed with this loss as last weeks since there were so many glaring problems last week. Offense was 1 or 2 plays from making some hay and that blocked FG was a fluke.

Offense was trash. There's a complaint. We can never seem to play as a team.

Training camp is for team building. Preseason is for team building. Not week two of the season. If you want to team build in week two, then get used to playing catch-up all year long, just like we are now.

The turnovers helped the D out tremendously today but as a unit they played hard and made some plays which is a plus.

But I wouldn't get too carried away with optimism I mean next week we could be right back on the we suck extremely on defense train ... its Jekyll and hyde with this team on both sides of the ball.

Moved the ball well against a good defense on the road. This wasn't going to be a high-yardage high-scoring game. It just wasn't.

Teams are not the same at the end of the season as they are at the beginning. Young players mature, confidence grows (or wanes), coaching adjustments are made, injuries affect the roster, etc. If you don't understand this, you don't understand football.

Thanks for something even remotely positive. Our young, very young team looked good today. People can say what you will but NO expert (or idiot) gave us a chance today.....not even our reporters (Deshazier, Deke, Bobby) NO ONE...but we sure as hell had a chance, and we're improving.

How can anyone be happy with this performance? The NFL doesn't hand out participation trophies. We gave up 368 yards in passing today and let the giants have the ball for 34 minutes. I want the hard questions asked. This is not a good football team. Big changes are needed after another 0-2 start....

Just stop watching dude. Just to inform you, just because you watch a game doesn't make you a fan or supporter. You might simply be a spectator. Don't feel bad, my brother is the same way and I told him the same thing. If you know football and the quality of the team your playing you'd have been impressed with a VERY YOUNG defensive backfield, especially going against three awesome receivers and a great backfield. People simply don't want to acknowledge we're rebuilding and they want immediate success. Not going to happen until we mature.....but it will be sooner than later. Mark my words.

The Defense didn't let them have the ball for 34 minutes, the Offense did by going 3 and out drive after drive. Morestead was our best Offensive player for 3 quarters. You can't seriously blame the defense for this loss! With our depleted secondary the Defense gave up 9 points to an Offense with a great group of WR's

Well I guess this makes us the best 0-2 team in the league....which means we are equal to the worst 0-2 teams too.

The personnel mistakes continue to haunt us....and we may have compounded them with some recent moves. It's probably way early to call "bust" on Fleener, but he looks like he's afraid to play.

Just think about next year's draft. We need OL, DL, LB, CB and maybe TE. Yet another off season where it will be virtually impossible to attend to all the needs. We lack talent and depth. Other than that, all is good. I do agree that they tried. The effort is there, they just don't have the talent.

I'm not blaming them, my point is they were average. If your punter is the best offensive weapon, that's not a good thing....

Nice effort. Sure woulda been nice to have C. J. Spiller today. :jpshakehead:

Kidding right? Spiller wasn't good enough. It's that simple.

Sifting through the Spiller/Cadet conversation is like digging in the trash trying to figure out if the old Coke can is more valuable than the old 7-Up can.

I understand this: Other teams are not consistently starting off 0-2 and playing catch-up to a .500ish record. If you think that's just business as usual, then I know for a fact that you don't understand football.
