Week one: Great offense; no defense.

Week two: Great defense; not enough offense.

My hope is that we get it all together in all three phases of the game.

A great time to do it is Week 3, before a national audience vs. the Falcons.

Drew is hot, and our boys will be fired-up.

I don't see us going 0-3... not in our house on MNF vs. Atlanta.

:gosaints:

A great time for it would've been when the season started. I don't understand why we insist on starting in a hole. We could stomp Atlanta and the next morning what do we get to look at?

1-2.

1-2.

1-2 *with a win against the Falcons.

That's about as glorious a 1-2 as you can get. I'll take it if they are giving it.

Ill be excited if we go above .500, only then will I be excited for the season again. I'm disappointed but I expected this year to look this way.. I still expect us to be very deadly later in the season when Rankins and Breaux come back.. barring anymore other crazy injuries we have this year.

I'm starting to get what Deuce said when we will be a much better team later in the year.

In which case I agree.

I feel that by week 6 we will be something like 2-4.. I feel like if we can make it 4-4 by the time rankins and breaux comes back.. we may actually see a competitive team..

Though.. when it comes down to it.. 2017 is going to be our year.. we are building to it.. just look at Brees contract.. and our cap.. we are poised to bring in big names and set up for a run.

I'm disappointed because of where we are right now, and how I feel the talent we have doesn't deserve to be there.

I think this team is on an upward trajectory in talent. We are going to be a better team when this season is over than it looks like we are right now. It's going to be too bad if we can't test this team in the playoffs. It's so hard to get there from 0-2. But the defense and the defensive game plan were on point today after a bit of a let down in game 1.

Offensively, I feel like the main problem is throwing the ball eight times to a guy who only catches two of them.

And then there is that inexcusable blocked FG.. :covri:

I am encouraged by the progress, but not the results and feel as if this will be another lost season. It's soooo hard to get out of an 0-2 hole and I don't think this team deserves to be stuck in it this time, but it is what it is.

I remember the last two years I still felt positive after our first two losses. My predictive skills did not prove to be very good.. So, if my history of reading the tea leaves is any indicator, I'm wrong now and we're golden! :9:

We thought this year was our year, and last year, and 2014.

Its going to take more than one season to fix this mess.

It will definitely be a tough game, but I believe the Falcons are what the doctor ordered to help right the ship!

Keep the faith! :9:

Plus you give a hated division rival a 1-2 record also. I see nothing but positives from beating Atlanta next week.

Saints never have two things that match. Either one week we have a good offense and horrible defense. Next week we have a dominate defense and a poo offense. Really Saints!!!
