So no mention of Andrus Peat today. No holding calls, no missed blocks, no whiffs like Unger or sacks given up like Strief. All are good things and to build upon! And for one, I think Saints coaching finally got it right, and have him on one side of the line instead of back and forth from the left side to the right side.

So a good day for no mentions of Peat!!

I did notice that Landon Turner was in on some jumbo running packages. Liked that. Like that a lot.

Yea I noticed that Landon Turner was in as well , nice to see because he has tons of potintial .

Not sure why you would want to trade a pro bowl caliber LT.? Not even sure what his injury is right now, but I dont think you let a guy like that walk. Only if some team would give up a 1st round pick for him.

He got pretty well smoked by Melvin Ingram at one point, would've given up a sack, except somebody on the other side of the line got through a half second earlier.

Other than that I thought he played really well again. No qualms about this guy playing left tackle, or any other spot on the line really. I think he's just a gamer. Might look like crap during preseason and practice, but when it counts, he's pretty reliable.

i think that's possible. he's a highly regarded LT.

for a 25 year old elite left tackle on a reasonable contract, better be more than just one first round pick. In fact, I think if you're talking about in terms of pure trade value, Armstead would be one of the most valuable non-QB commodities in the league right now.

I agree that's idiotic, I think we have our book end tackles for the foreseeable future in Armstead and Peat I think Strief should take a seat and Peat start at DT and let Strief be the Jumbo set tackle that comes in. Lelito and Kelemente can compete at guard opposite Evan's

i don't think Peat is ever gonna play RT. and i think it's relatively easy to find decent guards, if you try, which we haven't really done.
