Excellent game. Very happy to be a Saints fan even though they are giving us constant heart ache.

We are notorious for being the most lethal screen team in the game. We haven't been that and it's because there is a tell. One of the linemen is giving away the call. It's not Peat since he was out and they recognized it. LG has been rotating so I doubt it's any of them. Unger, Jahri, or Strief are giving it away and we have to figure this out. It's hurting this offense.

It's not just Luke, it's every team we've played thus far. It's a problem. Super happy with the win but I don't see how the Saints haven't figured this out yet. I think Daryl Johnston pointed it out too.

I know the announcers said it may be a linemen giving away the call, but I'm not buying that.

I just think Sproles and especially PT had a knack for getting free out of the backfield on a screen. And now we are working with Cadet and Lasco. Lasco has potential, but I'm in the boat that Cadet has hit his peak.

are you complaining about lack of screen pass ? Not long ago I was reading that we were using it too much without much success...

Combination of things. One thing, I think teams are just sitting on it. And Armstead is out, and even when he was in he was playing hurt and can't get out to the edge as quick. We also don't have a Pierre Thomas anymore.

The thing is, we have the WR's, we don't need to default to that every time it's 2nd and 15. When you can put Cooks, Snead, Thomas and Fleener on the field all at the same time somebody will always be open downfield. Why throw to a RB at the line of scrimmage? It just doesn't make sense with what we have right now.

I just wish they had a back up plan in case it goes sideways. I hate Drew just throwing the ball to the ground. I guess it could possibly be a lineman downfield problem if he threw to someone besides the back.
