With 6 players being already being inactive. The Saints are down to 47 players left, of which they have to dress 46. So if they have 1 more players who cant dress, they would have to either dress Callahan or waive him and sign someone off the practice squard to have full team on sunday.

Or you can just cut a veteran with more than 4 accrued seasons and sign him back Monday morning. Those guys aren't subject to waivers until after the trade deadline.

They're not going to expose Callahan to waivers.

Unless they put one of the 6 inactive guys on The IR. The only guy they can cut is Moore since hes on a 1 year contract, who they can resign on Monday.
