Saints' PFF (1 Viewer)

If you can watch the Saints defense play and not have an immense appreciation for Cam Jordan, I'm not sure what to tell you.

I think we finally can say that we found another link on years to come with Peat at left guard. He only will get better.

Next drafts (or free agency) should be focused on the right side.

props to Armstead as well, he is one tough dude. Definitely not near 100%

Based on past history, I say spend on offensive line in FA. Continue to draft for defense. I have no faith in this team evaluating FA defensive talent. Just MHO.

Peat is going to be one of the best RTs in the NFL next year. This has been a great year learning for him having moved around the entire OLine getting an understanding of what every position is suppose to be doing. Knowing what other OLinemans assignments are is huge for any OLineman and Peat has gotten a first hand experience. Has also been great for him to get use to the speed of the NFL and build his confidence up which is very important. With a full offseason to concentrate on RT he will be a stud. Yes playing the left side has been a little easier for him because he never had time on the right side. I really don't buy into the left/right stuff anyway when he was struggling everywhere at first. He has improved dramatically as a player not so much one side. With some time getting the steps down he will be perfectly fine. Another full off season in an NFL conditioning program should go a long way as well building up his core strength. Having two stud OTs and Center is a great foundation to have. We are close to being considered the best OLine in the NFL which I think next year we will be in every conversation. Nice to see Peat continually improve like young guys to which many didn't see to understand. We got a good one with this kid who is still very young having entered the draft as a young junior.

Amazing to see how many young guys we have being big contributors. Team is finally getting a nice injection of youth which should only get better with another year. When you look at our roster we have no serious contributor on the team who is anyway aging outside of Brees. Unger and Strief are the only other guys you could consider that actually play. Unger can play at a very high level as long as Brees is here while Strief is still solid and can atleast be a good backup. Plus we have a 1st round pick waiting to replace him. Also we don't have a bad contract on this roster outside of Byrd which after 1 more season will not hurt us at all. We are definitely headed in the right direction. Future is very bright!
