I could see it going either way.

He's liable to get good offers to be a HC somewhere. Would those jobs provide more satisfaction than coming back to LSU as the D-Line coach? What kind of ego does he have? I think he sees value in being home and close to seeing his kids play ball every once in a while. As the D-Line coach, his responsibilities are less.

If he goes and Jimbo comes, I would think that Craig remains on staff and will continue to be the recruiting coordinator. Austin Thomas is a big part of the success in recruiting at LSU as well, but Fisher and Craig have history together at FSU. Peveto, Raymond, Moffitt and Fisher were on staff together at LSU as well, so a big part of the recruiting equation has the potential to remain with a transition to not having Orgeron on board.
