Today someone tried to steal my account. Someone changed the email address to my account. I had to contact support to return access to my account. This has apparently been happening to multiple people over the past few weeks.

To set it up go to Settings, Playstation Network/Account Management, Account Information, Security, 2 Factor Verification.

You will enter your phone number and it will text you a password to enter, once you enter the password you will then be logged of and when you go to log back in you will be sent a second password to log in. In the future if anyone tries to change your account information you will be texted another password to enter.

I don't buy it. PSN would never be a target for hackers.
Except for Christmas Day...Destiny: Year One. To think I actually cared about missing my 1 millionth scout trip for a couple weeks...

That sucks.

i should have done this when you originally posted it

and/or that time I spent 5 minutes per person that joined the party to explain my plight.

yop, but i don't like to be told what to do

Yea, Uproar and Widge did it immediately, Jeff and Anita just said.. "Oh yea? that's nice."

Maybe that's why someone's been charging all those shark cards to my account.

That reminds me that I do still sort of want to get GTA V on PS4. Just harder to convince myself to buy a game I already played and beat on PS3.
