This is a different issue from that on the thread running about the number of Denver fans at last Sunday's game.

All of those Denver fans at the game. And the Seattle fans before. Where did they come from?

It seems that Dallas and San Francisco fans basically come from Louisiana or adjacent states.

The Raider fans (and I would guess this is also true of Green Bay and Pittsburgh fans) come from all over the country. I know that flying out of New Orleans the Monday after the Raiders game, I saw a ton of Raiders at the airport (though they weren't flying to California).

Atlanta fans seem to come from the Atlanta area.

But where did the Denver and Seattle fans come from? I was not at the Seattle game, so I did not get a chance to interact with them. But the few Denver fans I talked to came from Jackson and Atlanta.

Had two visiting fans sit in front of me. Guy was in Bronco garb, and the woman had a Brees jersey. Both from Oregon.

In all honesty, most them come from right around the corner. Sometimes I see them and I say to myself "I know you're not from Pittsburgh, Greenbay, Oakland,etc..".

Some of us keep selling our tickets to get them in here, and it's terribly sad.

New Orleans is a destination city. Folks look for almost any excuse to make a trip. So they make an extended weekend of it and get to see their team.

Win win

Oh and the City reaps the tourism $

At the Seattle game, couple next to us in Seahawks garb was from Minnesota.

People get mad when they see a lot of fans of the opposing team when it comes to the Saints, but the Saints are notorious for doing the same thing. The San Diego game I went to this year had more Saints fans than Charger fans and 2 years ago I went to St. Louis that was basically a home game for us, I never felt so at home at any place ever. It happens.

Talked to a bunch of Seattle fans that weekend--at least 20. Every single one said they lived in Seattle or somewhere in Washington. I have no idea how they all got to NO.

I talked to a Broncos fan leaving the dome... he said he was from Kenner, but lives in Texas. Was brainwashing his kid.

He did mention that he was on row 4 and said their guy went out of bounds.

All of the Seattle fans I ran into were from the Seattle area or transplants living in Houston or NOLA.

My aunt met with two Broncos fan friends of hers
In Lafayette before the game. One from Atlanta, one from Denver.

There was even an only Broncos tailgate at a bar on bourbon st. It was disturbing. Their fans made a difference for our offense in the 4th and that should never be allowed to happen at home. It was sad seeing all the orange in the bottom sections at the dome this weekend :/

Gotta consider financial situation though. Louisianians are hurting.
First the oilfield crashes and now flood recovery. Cut Saints fans some slack.

Meh. I'm not buying it. We are a post super bowl, spoiled fan base. I've offered tickets to many people who had previously begged me to come, even at no charge, only to be turned down. The reality is that people are now apathetic towards this version of the Saints.
