Controlling our Own Destiny (1 Viewer)

If they lose to the panthers, then yes we have the upper hand.... but if they lose to a non-divisional opponent then we will have the same division record and it will go to the common games tie breaker (not sure who wins that one)... all of this assuming we win out and they lose to us + 1 more.

Our common games are tied, so it will then go to conference. We have 3 AFC losses and they only have 1 (or two if they lose to KC), so we'd win.

I went through this on my own this week. Any Atlanta loss puts us in "control own destiny" mode.

Let's be real here. I can see the Saints winning 3 out of the last 5,winding up 8 & 8 and picking somewhere in the 14-20 range in next years draft. Still not bad considering the start of the season.

In most seasons, I'd prefer to see us not win meaningless games, but with how close this team is, I'd really like to see us end the year on a roll, even if we don't make the playoffs.

This team is learning how to win again and it will provide some great momentum into next year in what could be a very good season for us.

The nucleus is in place, and now we will have cap space to operate with. We are about to make one final 2-3 year run. I am excited for our immediate future here.
